Privacy Policy

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and any profile information you provide (such as your name or avatar), via our authentication provider, Supabase.

Course content. We collect the topics you enter, any documents or PDFs you upload, and any YouTube video links you attach, so that we can generate courses, lessons, and quizzes on your behalf.

Learning activity. We store your progress through courses and lessons, quiz answers, XP, and streaks so we can track your progress and show you relevant statistics.

Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details — Stripe handles that securely on our behalf.

Usage data. We may automatically collect information about how you access and use the Service, such as device type, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps, to help us maintain and improve the Service.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
• Generate courses, lessons, quizzes, and other content using AI models based on the topics and materials you provide;
• Process payments and manage subscriptions;
• Track your progress, streaks, and achievements within the Service;
• Communicate with you about your account, updates, or support requests;
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or abusive activity; and
• Improve and develop new features for the Service.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the following categories of third parties, and only as needed to operate the Service:

• Infrastructure and database providers (such as Supabase and Vercel), who store and host account and course data on our behalf;
• AI model providers (such as Anthropic, accessed through Vercel's AI Gateway), who process course topics and attached materials in order to generate lessons and quizzes;
• Transcript providers (such as Supadata), used to fetch transcripts for YouTube videos you attach to a course;
• Payment processors (such as Stripe), who handle billing for paid plans; and
• Law enforcement or other parties when required to comply with a legal obligation, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Solus, our users, or others.

We retain your account and course data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual courses at any time from your dashboard. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or security purposes.

We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls on our databases. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you. You can manage most of this directly from your account settings, or by contacting us using the details below.

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date above or through other appropriate means.
